Joining the Credit Union is Easy
Membership forms are available at the credit union or they can be mailed to you. A deposit of $5.00 is required with the completed membership card to open the share account. This is not a fee, but a deposit and will be returned to you in the event the account is closed.
Once a Member, Always a Member
We provide two modes of ownership for any account:
- Single accounts - an account is owned and controlled by one member.
- Joint accounts - an account is owned and controlled by two or more members. All joint owners have equal access to the account, and in the event of the death of one member, the account becomes the property of the surviving members.
Important Information on Opening a New Account
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.
What this means for you:
- When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you.
- We may also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents.
