Phishing Information

Becoming more common is an internet scam identified as "phishing".  Fraudulent e-mails are sent to individuals requesting that they supply personal information in order to update or verify database records or account information.  Although the requests appear to be secure and from legitimate places of business, the information supplied is used to illegally gain access to an individuals personal and financial information.

For your protection, if you are the victim of a "phish" do not open, but delete the message.  Report the incident to the Internet Fraud Complaint Center at www.ic3.gov.
